a bit about the blogger.

i moved home september of last year, before that i was jumping around in between new york and utah. i actually enjoy it here, more that i thought i would. rochester has a nice social scene to offer the young adult. if you enjoy dirty streets, beauty pageant bars, and broke college students i suggest a move here as soon as possible. regardless i think ill be here for awhile, once i 'settled down' here, per say, i took a mental inventory of the guys that came into my life. and it breaks down to this: i have had two serious relationships, kissed exactly.. like i would tell you ;) and been on way too many dates that leave me alone at the end of the night, with a bag of doritos and watching saturday night live. (thats hard to complain about!) lets face it, 'when me and my ex's got into a relationship or dating streak, we were both two brand new sports cars driving side by side. we were sleek, desirable, sexy, and confident, and the ride was exhilarating. after a while i zigged when he zagged, we werent driving the same speed anymore, one of us was always trying to catch up, and eventually we crashed and totaled the cars. and when the insurance paid out, one us decided to buy a new car instead of fixing the totaled one.' on the flip side, you are now free from a relationship that wasnt working, freedom from having to always apologize, dealing with drama, and free from time wasted with someone who wasnt appreciative of who you really are. so say to yourself, "hello pain, i realize we have business, you and i, but dont get comfortable, because youre not staying" because it does get better, after it gets worse, sadly. so stick with it. im sure youve heard the saying 'what doesnt kill you makes you stronger?' i turned my breakups back on themselves and crushed 'em. trust me, you found a good guy once, youll find one again. promise. so, to all the guys that broke my heart and gave me the insight into writing this tome, (slap on the back) thanks!
